White Rock Library – They have many services available both online and in person 

Alex House – Build a sense of community though a variety of drop-in events, including drop-in knitting every monday!

Brella Community Services Society (formerly, Seniors Come Share Society) is providing a variety of services, both remotely and in person including:

  • Seniors’ Centre Without Walls – telephone based social/recreational activities.
  • Better at Home Services – including support with grocery ordering/delivery, and meal delivery.
  • Telephone Tree – their volunteers make weekly social calls to offer participants emotional support, companionship, and a sense of community completely over the phone. Volunteers can also provide you with information and referral services, and can keep you informed about the programs and events in the community.
  • And more! – they also have a variety of other events including tech support, community lunches, and friendly visitors

Fraudsters are using a variety of different tactics to try and trick the public with phishing emails, phone calls and text messages. These scams take many different forms so we recommend you read through the document linked above in an effort to prevent falling for any of these tricks. The most prevalent scams include:
